Public Notice – Zoning Bylaw Amendment

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – Adoption of Bylaw 2023-07 to Amend the Town of Cabri Zoning Bylaw

Public Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Town of Cabri intends to consider the adoption of a bylaw to amend the Zoning Bylaw No. 2017-02 under The Planning and Development Act, 2007.


The proposed bylaw will allow for Council discretion to authorize an extension in maximum site frontage for irregular sites provided that:

  1. No more than two adjoining sites are to be consolidated
  2. Both sites must be legally owned by the same individual or corporation
  3. Both sites must be in the same Zoning District


All irregular sites, as in non-conforming to the minimum and/or maximum site frontage allowances, in any Zoning District within the Town of Cabri.


Any person may inspect the proposed bylaw to amend the Zoning Bylaw during regular office hours at the Town of Cabri municipal office. Copies are available at cost.


Council will hold a public hearing on December 11, 2023 from 6:00pm to 6:30pm at the Town of Cabri municipal office to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed bylaw. Council will also consider written comments received at the hearing (or delivered to the undersigned at the municipal office before the hearing).
