Waste Collection/Recycling

Residents of Cabri:

On April 30, 2015 our current waste collection contract with Waste Management expires and we have entered into a new agreement with Triways Disposal Services Ltd. for waste collection and single stream recycling services. One week they will pick up the waste and the next week they will pick up the recycling. Attached you will find information about the new recycling and waste collection services, please review the information carefully.

Important Dates:
On April 29th and 30th Triways will deliver two new totes to your house, a grey one for waste and a blue one for recycling. The May collection schedule is printed on the back of this notice.

On April 30th please ensure that your current green Waste Management bin is on the street for collection even if it is empty. This will be Waste Management’s last collection day and they will be picking up all of the totes as well.

Garbage/Recycling Collection Information

PLEASE NOTE: All garbage/recycling collection bins must be placed on the street -not avenue- for pickup. Your garbage will not be collected if the bin is left on the avenue.

Bagged leaves/grass clippings can be put in the garbage bins as long as they are bagged. Any bags left next to the bin will not be collected. You can either save the extra bags for next collection or arrange to have them taken to the landfill.
Shredded paper can be recycled in clear plastic bags. Confetti-type shredded paper will not be accepted.
