Payment Reminder Notice – Utility Bills and Taxes
As the postal strike continues, the Town is unable to mail out payment reminder notices for those properties with outstanding tax and utility balances. Please contact the Town Office to determine if your account is up to date or if there is an amount owing. It is the property owner and/or renter’s responsibility to ensure accounts are kept current. Should property taxes remain unpaid by December 31, 2024, a 10% penalty shall be added to the property taxes.
We would also like to encourage all residents to sign up for eBilling so property notices such as utility and tax bills can be emailed. Should the postal strike continue into the New Year, it will remain the responsibility of the property owner and/or renter to pick up notices at the Town Office if ebilling is not an option.
Please contact the Town Office with any questions or concerns.
